22 - Holiday B-Side

The Resident Evil 2 remake is something that has been coveted for years, so naturally when it was announced fans collectively lost their shit.

It’s only natural; the idea of playing a fully modernized Resident Evil 2 in the vein of the more recent over-the-shoulder styled games in the series excites me greatly.

How does it hold up?

It’s so fucking good.

A positive effect of this light January release schedule is you get to spend that much more time playing the only game that matters right now.

In case you couldn’t tell, this cast is very Resident Evil 2 heavy, so spoiler warning for those looking to go fresh.

We also discuss a bit of the Activision-Bungie split that happened earlier this month and what that might mean for the Destiny franchise going forward.

Apologies in advance for any background noise experienced this month; we just so happened to be building Justin’s new PC rig during this recording, which was also a make up of a lost Discord cast we had earlier this month. It wouldn’t be a Digital Bench production is something didn’t go wrong every time.
